We’ve missed you all so much this last four months and are now ready and eager to serve you all once again in a safe and friendly environment.

We have done everything we possibly can to ensure your safety whilst maintaining our core values of being kind, friendly, consistent  and efficient. It’s going to be a bit of trial and error for a little while to start with I’m sure but we welcome your thoughts and definitely want you to tell us if you do not feel safe enough whilst you’re in our care.

We are working with a reduced number of tables inside the pub and are taking bookings for the lunch times but are continuing with our “no bookings” policy for the evenings, so we ask that you apply common sense that if it’s pouring down with rain on a Saturday evening for example it’s probably not a good idea to risk coming without giving us a quick call first to see how busy we are and accepting you may have to wait in your car a while until we can seat you.

You’ll see some of our hours are changed, this is so we can get all our staffs days off in one go now that we do not have any part timers working with us.

Unfortunately for the time being we cannot have babies and young children up to the age of 5 yrs on the premises, babies need changing facilities and young children like to run around, both of these we cannot provide room for with the Covid restrictions in place.

No dogs will be allowed on the premises except assistance dogs.

As we see the end of January 2020, our 100% Plant pies have gone down a treat!

We have been like little crazy scientists in our kitchen creating all sorts of pies for folks trying to reduce their animal product consumption with all sorts of creations like the 100% Plant mock chicken and mushroom which has been a popular swap for the chicken and mushroom pie lovers, 100% Plant roast Quorn with sage and onion stuffing, a favourite alternative to a roast dinner, and then there’s the 100% Plant jerk vegetable reggae reggae for those who like it hot, hot, hot!

As we wind our way into February and we wave good bye to Veganuary, we are trying our best to keep a 100% plant pie on as often as possible. Please feel free to give us a call and see whats available on the day and our lovely staff will be happy to advise you on availability.

All our pies are subject to availability on the day as every thing is made fresh and cooked to order and sometimes we simply run out! When it’s gone, it’s gone….till next time
